In my hometown of Chicago, I recall hearing some chatter and maybe seeing a couple of Facebook postings about a young, up and coming emcee, who had tragically lost his life to an accidental drowning, on August 30th, 2012. That young man was John “Vietnam” Nguyen, an UW-Madison college student. I hadn’t heard of John up until the time I was made aware of his passing. It was only yesterday, while going through music submissions, when I discovered that he had personally sent me this video to post on this blog. It was also the very first time I had the pleasure of listening to this gifted emcee.
You are immortal through your art, John. It’s on IHH so I fux wit it. Thanks for the submission!
