Tha Pope, has become what some would call a local celebrity in the Chi. First being known as one of the best “Juke” dancers, a style birthed in Chicago, Tha Pope expanded on his popularity by hosting shows, performing and recording records. I can bear witness to his unyielding grind and focus. Spend 10 minutes with him, and you can tell that he loves what he does and has a raw passion for music. I sat down with him to pick his brain on a number of topics. He had a lot of insightful thoughts about his journey to share.
